HOW TO RIG THE SQUISH JIG FOR BIG FISH

Frederic Kullin is showing how to rig the Savage gear 160g Squish Jig for really big fish like dogtooth tuna.

The Savage Gear Squish Jig is very effective for all kind of smaller and medium size reef fish. First time I saw this jig I realised that this would be a good jig for dogtooth tuna because of its compact shape. We often use shorter more compact jigs for doggies and different tuna species like yellowfin and bluefin tuna.

But the hooks and kevlar cord is a bit undersized for the big ones so I made a new more suitable singlehook setup. First time we used it were on a trip to North East Madagascar this spring and the pics speaks for them selves – And I was right! The doggies loves the 160g Savage Gear Squish Jig!
