Asp camp Vistula

This was a very nice spinning event on one of the wildest rivers in Europe! Behind us is a three-day camp on the Vistula River, this event was organized by company PrzewodnicyWedkarscy.pl under the patronage of Polish departments of Savage Gear and Okuma.

The event was attended by ten people fishing from three boats under the guidance of two guides, members of  Pro Team Savage Gear Poland. On one of those boat was for guys from Savage Gear and Okuma including Sebastian Rzytki, also from Pro Team, on second were me with my clients and on third boat guide Dawid Kaszlikowski with his guests. Two more our friends, anglers as well, were all the time in the camp base, watching for our gear.

Nice asp

The situation on the water was changing like in kaleidoscope. Thunderstorms, rain, wind, sun, there were everything. So in addition to asp we also catched other species of fish, especially catfish. They gave a lot of emotion on asp rods! Together with our guests, we traveled several dozen kilometers of the Vistula river, from the less wild Warsaw (capital of Poland) Vistula, to the wild Mazovian Vistula below.

Everyone caught their fish. Nobody was at zero. Each of the guests got gifts from the Savage Gear brand. For the biggest asp was a prize, the Savage Gear Parabellum CCS rod 279cm long with casting weight of 10-30g. The winner was Paweł fishing on Dawid's boat, congratulations! In the camp at night we also caught catfish stationary. The biggest catfish was 184cm.

Big Catfish

Conversations until late at night, sleeping in a tent on the wild Vistula, and of course fishing, it's all the quintessence of fishing on a large wild river!

Our guests used Savage Gear and Okuma equipment, in particular Epixor XT 40s, Helios SX 40S reels and Parabellum CCS rods, Fat T-Tail Minnow and VIB Blade were the best lures.

Thank you all for participating in the event! It was great time!
